Just a note, you should always heat around the bolt and keep the bolt as cool as possible, you want the steel that the bolt is screwed into to expand and the bolt to stay strong. Just an observation not a criticism.

This is a 955 Shovel Dozer!! this was the everything machine BEFORE excavators. I ran this same model for years. yours is in great shape for how old it is. BTW there are pins that come out or the radiator shroud to hold the arms up (yours are missing) so you can work on the engine.

Hi Andrew, I noticed while watching your video that you run this machine with a very flat bucket, actually it’s about where the bucket leveler kicks out. You should dump the bucket forward so you can almost see the teeth from your seat. This has a tendency to push the bucket down as you move forward, as well as putting pressure on the tracks. When the bucket is flat or partly closed the forward motion tries to lift the tracks which gives you less traction and easily lets the tracks spin. Like a rubber tired loader if you put pressure on the front tires while closing the bucket you won’t have tire spin and you can usually fill the bucket. You do nice work and you make good videos. If I were so equipped with tools and machines, then at least I would know that even the new, fixed guide roller on the chain must rotate freely and not the one that should freeze when driving. Then, with the welding torch, the hexagon bolts do not heat the heads, but the threads of the bolts and the flange that are stuck in the turbocharger flange. It is clear that you then tear off the screw heads and the rest of the screw gets stuck in the flange. I would have installed the seal directly on the flange the first time, that would have saved the second work. If I worked like that, my boss would have fired me long ago !!

You have to wait for the bolt/nut to cool off and shrink back down before trying to take it out.
