In my opinion electric cars are not better for the environment and are not the future. 1. Not only an engine produces micro particles. Brake dust and the wheel “grinding” on the street also produces these harmful particles.2. Watch a Video of how we collect lithium. The people living there have no groundwater anymore because of us pumping it on the surface and wait until it evaporates and the lithium stays.3. The earth does not have enough resources left for all of us having electric cars. 4. If you buy an electric car and take your power to charge the car out of an atomic power plant, you did not safe anything. My hopes are about hydrogen cars but with an engine and not with a fuel cell. And basically you can’t force people to drive electric cars.

It means we generate electricity from thermal(mostly) power, and we use it to charge our car. More power needed,more fuel is burnt until solar system gets it efficiency.

Electric cars are all the rage especially Tesla. I live in San Jose, CA. There is a Tesla dealer just three blocks from my house! Tesla owners are everywhere here. I mean it. I can go out now and find a Tesla driver within 5 minutes. Not kidding! They are all over the place here. I am all for EV's It's the future. But consider this. Charging an EV still consumes a hideous amount of power. And power plants require fossil fuels to produce electricity to charge your EV. Right? 32 Amps max to charge a Tesla is power intensive. This is like running, for example, your oven and air conditioner at the same time. Yes, the power company may give you a break on electrical cost(and incentives), but producing the actual electricity to charge consumes huge resources. My opinion, Tesla owners are either brand junkies, wealthy, want a cool car, or just plain ignorant. Not ElectroBoom of course( you stand out of the crowd). EV car salesmen are very keen. Ask all the questions before buying(a Tesla). Ask them if they are willing to throw in some solar panels on the deal. Solar in combination with EV's are the solution.

When i was much younger i wanted to put 4 dynamo's on a car to use it to charge batteries and also power an electric motor. It's a very crude method of what Elon did. The difference between us is that he put his shit on paper and got the money to build and experiment while i was told i was silly and forgot about it. What i take away from this: Even if it's silly put your idea's on paper and attempt everything. 99 failed tests will result in 1 successful test resulting in BILLIONS OF MONEIES!

I think the best is the future with hydrogen cars, because they have the same production costs as a classic car and when burned it produces only water (steam) and electric cars have one major problem, batteries. There are many cases of self-ignition or explosion of the battery, then sr such a fire can easily be extinguished for a week and the batteries still have a great burden on nature during disposal.
