Joss is a hack. Sure he made something off of what he took from the MOVIE! But his writing team really led the show and angel. If he was really a good creator writer he would’ve had some other angles to firefly/serenity. He doesn’t abs never will. He can only work off of established works. In case you guys think these reunions are just a happy accident gift Anytime you see your favorite characters randomly showing up sudden'y it's because it is actually PRESS for the Reboot, Sarah michelle is popping up in a bunch of stuff and doing interviews with charmed star shannon about her cancer and friendship, Most of the time all of these sudden videos are to get the public thinking about the show again, it's genius, they put it fresh in your mind and then hit you with the new show, Some still aren't aware buffy is coming back, So by the time it hits you feel like it fits your world and it was suppose to happen, because now it is fresh in your mind. This is no different, it could be just to promote buffy OR also possibly be promoting a new angel.

Hands down the scene that still breaks my heart is Doyle dying. I have his ad scene for angels investigation saved. Fred dying is my second most heart breaking scene. This is the show I will always go back to no matter what. I never did finish watching all of Buffy but angel is the one I watched every episode and kept coming back to it. And I get excited and watch their movies/shows whenever I see any of them in other projects.

Are these actors and actresses big stars? No. They're beloved. Not because of who they play, but because of who they are. Fame and infamy stem from something you've done. Prestige is awarded for who you are. Charisma Carpenter has and always will be a hero to me because she was kind to a homeless boy and recognized his issues to women touching him. Her megawatt smile kept that boy swinging until he defeated his demons.

I hope we NEVER get a modern sequel series to Angel or Buffy. Why? Look at the Star Wars movies now, Look at Star Trek now. Look at Will and Grace. Look at Full House. Not only do they not hold a candle to their predecessors, they dilute the brand making the good parts seem less special. A blu-ray remaster with updated cgi? YES.
